The Fairfield Artist Studio Tour featured my new event tent as well as lots of new art pieces.

Fibre Artist in Victoria, BC
In April, this piece won the viewers’ choice award for a challenge called “the Island Way”. The challenge was hosted by a fibre art group that meets on Vancouver Island once a year. My piece is a photograph I took at the island’s cruise ship terminal and then I worked my quilting magic on it.
For an exhibition at the Provincial Ministry of Health building, Sharon Thirkettle and I worked from the same photographs. Sharon painted her pieces and I felted mine.
A commission, featuring four of my Tree Series pieces, is displayed in its forever home over a king-sized bed.
The hard work of quilting a large commission piece.
