These little fellers are ready for Christmas 2014.

This photo was taken by fellow cruiser, Lori Findlay, in San Juan, Puerto Rico earlier this year. Lots of machine and hand stitching, beads and cheesecloth give it texture and dimension.

This was a white piece of silk before I began dying it and using a wax resist. A very fun process that gives rich, colourful and unexpected results.

Urban Horses was juried into the Sooke Fine Art Show. This is quite an honour: 350 pieces were accepted out of 1,500 entries.

Starting off the new year with a working clock made entirely of fabric, except the workings, of course. This piece is donated to the Canadian Quilters Association for a fundraiser: http://www.canadianquilter.com.
