At ArtSea Gallery in Sidney, my Christmas quilt greeted people with a splash! And my felted pieces looked great along the walls.
Once again one of my rainforest-inspired pieces was juried into the Sooke Fine Arts Show. (Last year was Radiant Rainforest.) People find it a challenge to figure out how I do these sewn pieces.
I was invited to join several other artists at an art showing in Oak Bay. It rained, so we set up inside the host’s house. Even so, people came, and art departed with them!
The 2025 Fairfield Artists Studio Tour took place in my backyard this year with all of the beautiful spring flowers in bloom.
The 2024 Diverse Threads Show at the ArtSea Gallery in Sidney was a big success despite a couple of days with high winds, rain and road closures. Look for us again in late October 2025!
My piece called “Radiant Rainforest” was juried into the 2024 Sooke Fine Arts Show this year. They get 1,500 submissions and only 350 are accepted. It is an honour.
Getting set up for another studio tour! The house is transformed into a nice art gallery and gift shop.
My first time at the Moss Street Paint-In, where thousands come to walk Moss Street and to talk to the 180 artists who are displaying their art. It was a very fun day!
The Fairfield Artist Studio Tour featured my new event tent as well as lots of new art pieces.
Art show and sale in Sidney, BC was the first time I sold cotton-linen tea towels featuring my photo artwork. They sold out in two days! And Full Spectrum Sunrise gets a new forever home!
